See you again

It's been a while again since my last post. Not much has changed with the R33 since. But one important thing to report. I would not have thought I would ever have done this a year or two ago but I have parted ways with the R33 (Vivian).

Much has been going through my head after various experiences including making new friends, learning more about the cutting edge of RB26 development and rethinking my automotive priorities.

More on the former in coming posts.

There was no one reason but many small reasons added together which resulted in this decision.

After over 8yrs of memories with the 33 it was time. Great drives, cutting edge tuning and modernisations (chassis, engine, interior) we had a good run.

Despite having a sometimes human relationship with my car at the end of the day they are still first and foremost an engineering project.
I am a body rigidity and suspension nerd. Having reached the limit of what is possible on those fronts without welding.

If I were to choose one of the many reasons This would be it.

The others I will discuss more in a coming post.

Last picture taken of her on a last dawn raid drive. A good one as always.

I sold back to where I got her, Best R. My chief concern was her being sold out of country but lucky looks like she has gone to a good home. A Nismo enthusiast who apparently traded in his 370Z Nismo (Z34). Looking forward to the day we meet both the car and the new owner. Until then...

Where to next? Stay tuned.
