Timing belt time?

During shaken I always do a full fluids change everytime. This time it came to mind that I was not 100% sure when my engine's timing belt. So better to be safe than sorry I thought so right after I got my car back a few weeks later I booked in my car again at Best R https://www.best-r.com/ .

So although my S1 engine has only done as of this year approximately 35k kilometers since it was converted to an S1 that was 20 years ago. A number of S1s have been throwing belts due to the bearings having rusted. Better to be safer than sorry.

The condition of the belt was good. Meaning it most likely it has been change at least once since the conversion.

All parts including the water pump were in good order. At least now I know when they were changed.

Now I can drive with more confidence. Better spend a few hundred dollars that many thousands on a blown engine. Let's keep our engines running long and hard.
